Many thanks to everyone who came along to compete - I hope you enjoyed what for most of you will have been a first time orienteering in Dundee. Clatto and Templeton is a very pleasant area, although planning is a little restricted by strategically placed uncrossable walls and fences as well as the abundance of tracks and paths. So as a result the courses were cerainly very fast, reflected in the times, with everyone running comfortably under 10 min/k. Note to some nameless competitors: this is a six...6 while this is a nine...9!
Acknowledgements: Dundee City Council for permission to use the area; thanks also to Jane and David Anderson, Helen James and Allan Downie for their help on the day, and Robin Sloan (RR) for some informal and impromptu controlling in advance.
