Last June, we held an event at Camperdown Park in torrential rain on a June afternoon, and as a result didn't attract too many competitors! With a big pile of premarked maps to use up, we decided to re-run the event to give you another chance to try the courses. This was another chance to along and enjoy Camperdown Park in - hopefully - better weather - and for the 8 of you who ran last time, a chance to better your time!

So, it seems we still can't find a dry day for an event at Camperdown! At least this time it was mist and smirr, rather than torrential rain...
Thankyou to everyone who came along and supported the event - it seems from comments at the end that you all enjoyed the contrast in terrain and orienteering style Camperdown and Templeton presented you. Hopefully it gave you a good opportunity to stretch your legs in advance of the Scottish Championships next weekend.

We still have a few more printed maps to get rid of, so maybe another event next year, or maybe we'll just give them away :-)

Follow the main drive into Camperdown Park from the the A923 Dundee-Birkhill Road at the Timex Brae roundabout. Parking, registration, start and finish will be based at the Car Park on the right of the main drive into Camperdown Park, just as you enter the parkland.
