A wonderful turnout of 117 teams of three from 30 schools competed in the lovely gardens and parkland of Scone Palace. Third place saw 'Lolling Llamas' from St Dominics come in just ahead of half a dozen teams close on their heels. But two teams scored the maximum points, with 'From Outer Space' (really Dunning) improving dramatically on their 7th position in the area final to come second in a time of 44mins 20seconds. However the clear winners, again showing a big improvement on their third place in the area final, was The King Kestrel from Oakbank in a time of 38.44.

All competing pupils are reminded that they can enter the Jamie Stevenson Trophy on June 16th at Muirward Wood by Scone (entry has to be sent to moira.laws@hotmail.co.uk. no later than this Sunday) or Tayside Orienteers next event at Auchingarrich Wildlife Park on Sunday June 9th (ideally pre-enter - see the event details page for more details of how to do this - though there will be entry on the day.
