Xmas event - Entries, Fees and other info.
NOTE - This event is ONLY for Tay members who have pre-entered. There is no entry on the day.
You must adhere to the Scottish Government advice on travel. If Perth and Kinross remains in Tier 3, members who live in other Council areas including Dundee and Angus must not travel to this event. If Perth & Kinross moves down to Tier 2 but you live in a council area that is Tier 3 or 4 again you must not travel to the event.
Starts will be 11-12.30
There will be 4 courses length and climb to be confirmed
white approx. 2km
orange approx. 2km
Light green approx. 3 km
green approx. 4km
There will be an entry fee of £3 for seniors and £1 for juniors. Please put the exact money in an envelope with your name(s) written on the front and place in box at registration.

Give a contact phone number,
Your preferred start time if you have one.
Competitors need to ensure they are capable of running their chosen course because they won't be able to contact other competitors for help during the event.
Competitors must stay at least 2m from other competitors (unless in their household) before, after and during the event. If someone else is punching a control wait until they have left.
Club risk assessment has been completed. Prepare a personal risk assessment.
Jane will email everyone with individual start times.
It is essential for people to try and stick to these times.
No results/splits provided on the day, results will be online.
Hand sanitiser will be provided at the start and finish.
The car parking will be in the disused quarry area NN 918 591 which is accessed from the main road by following the road to Faskally House rather than the normal car parking area. It will be sign posted from the entrance. Please be aware of other vehicles and pedestrians and adhere to the speed limits. When parking please park considerately and be aware there may be forestry equipment, log stacks and tented accommodation in the car parking area. These are strictly out of bounds.
The assembly area will be in the car park. The start and finish and adjacent to the parking.
Collect maps and hired dibbers at registration/download. In the interest of fairness for Short Green and Green courses do not look at your map before punching the start control.
Hired dibbers should be placed in the box provided after downloading.
If you're displaying one or more Covid-19 symptoms you must not attend.
If you are in Covid-19 quarantine you must not attend
People in higher risk categories as set out by the government should be aware that attending could put you at increased risk.
The 2 metre rule applies at all times, including at controls, so please move away from controls as soon as you have punched.
Please keep young children with you at all times.
You need to turn up for your start on time. Please do not congregate at the start, finish, download or car park.
Once you (and your family) have completed your run(s) and downloaded you should depart the event area.

Differences to 'normal' due to Covid:
There are no toilets provided.
Don't arrive more than 30 minutes before your start time
No splits or results will be provided at the finish but you MUST download even if you have retired
Please avoid touching the controls
Avoid unnecessary contact with fences, railings, bridges etc.
No car key drop box
You will be asked to use hand sanitizer before picking up your map.
Parts of Faskally are very popular with the public – walkers and mountain bikers. Please be aware of others and maintain your distance. Give way to members of the public on narrow paths and at gates or stiles. The bridge across the Loch is out of bounds for the event.
