Halloween Event Report

A big thanks to Dunning Golf Club for the use of their course.

Despite the threatening weather we had a good turnout.

That included a number of newcomers and a strong scout contingent.

Thanks to all, including Elaine Gillies (organiser) and David Frame (planner) not to mention the witch (Angela Dixon) .

The get together in the Kirkstyle Bar brought a fitting end to the evening.

The results are online at our website and at Si results.

We have removed the faulty unit 170 from the results and reinstated anyone who didn't register a punch there. Also the witch control wasn't scoring properly in the software (must have been cursed), but everyone seems to have found her in her lair anyway. So the maximum points for the long course was 160.

"An excellent and fun event," says club chair Alistair Duguid, "and great to see many club members for a sociable meal afterwards."
