Still time to add to your score!
With four more local club events still to take place this year there is plenty of opportunity to move up the standings in the club league table! Five easy points if you help out at an event so even if not fully fit there is a chance to improve without a lot of physical effort!
Two further fantastic opportunities for orienteering in our area this autumn - 1 Oct Score/Colour-coded event courtesy of STAG on a new area at Grandtully (Aberfeldy) and 29 Oct Scottish League event at Drummond Hill, Kenmore.
Congratulations to everyone from TAY who took part in the 6 Days, whether as competitors, organisers, planners or volunteers. A special mention to Roos and Alistair for planning the courses for Day 1 and to Davie and Elaine for organising everything for Day 1.
Re-live the action!
Thanks to Poppycock Films who have well and truly captured the atmosphere of Royal Deeside 2017 - six days of Scottish orienteering at its best! Watch the film (one of three - more on our/Scottish Orienteering Facebook pages where you can also read more about how we got on!).
Good luck to the 31 lucky TAY members heading to Royal Deeside for the 21st Scottish 6 Days which starts on Sunday. Waiting for you are six days of racing on quality terrain in some stunning scenery, alongside a multi-national field of nearly 3000 competitors of all ages. Enjoy!
Here are the latest positions in the club championships table. Close inspection will show how volunteering and helping out can bring you into contention alongside our elite runners!
Good luck to TAY juniors taking part in this weekend's Jamie Stevenson Trophy - Scotland's exciting junior inter-club event! Looking forward to hearing how you get on and seeing some action pics!

No training on Wednesday evening
We're sorry to have to cancel this month's training evening at short notice owing to work commitments. You are still welcome to meet and go for a run but please note this will not be an official TAY activity. We then take a break for the summer season, returning on Wed 6 September. Keep up the good work on your fitness and technical skills training meantime!
First outing for our new Riverside Park map
Great time last night marking World Orienteering Day with an evening activity at Riverside Park in Perth, on our lovely new map. Fantastic to welcome some new faces trying out orienteering for the first time and with great enthusiasm.
