Summer Barbecue Event - June 20th

Tayside Spring Series No 4

This is a heads up about a club social event coming up on Sat 20th June.  We are looking to round off the season with a fun score and BBQ at Moncrieffe Hill, Perth.  For something a bit different and more sociable, we are going to run a score event with teams of 3 people.  You won’t run round the course in groups of 3, but you will decide on a plan together - who is going to aim for which controls - and then the points will be totalled at the end.  There will be a simple score weighting given to participants based loosely on age and experienced/novice orienteer, but the emphasis is really on the fun part!
Final details are still being worked out, but likely that we will start a bit later than normal and aim to have a BBQ in the afternoon after the run.  The BBQ will be bring your own meat etc to put on it!
