We could all do with a bit of coaching to improve our orienteering skills, whether new to the sport or a seasoned veteran! We've now firmed up some dates for a new series of TAY coaching sessions, open to all club members.

Permanent Orienteering Courses
Come and try orienteering in your own time on our new Permanent Orienteering Courses at Kinnoull Hill. Maps can be downloaded from the British Orienteering Website Our old "Woodland Challenge" permanent courses at the Hermitage (Dunkeld), the Knock (Crieff) and St Magadalene's Hil (Perth) are currently out of action due to storm damage and forestry operations and we do not recommend their use.
Junior coaching series
The East of Scotland Orienteering Association runs a series of coaching for juniors which are open to TAY junior members.
Bonskeid Sat 11 March
Our friends up the road BASOC are having a pre-Compass Sport Cup training day at Bonskeid (near Pitlochry) on Saturday 11 March from 1100-c1400 and have kindly invited their friends in TAY to join them.

Scottish Orienteering CPD Day
Following April's session the next in the SOA's Creative Coach sessions will be held at South Creag Vinean, near Dunkeld on Saturday 3 September.
Block of four coaching sessions for club members
We are delighted to announce the dates for our next block of coaching sessions, starting Saturday 20 August. These dates have been chosen specifically to fit around TAY and SOA orienteering events.
