AGM report and new office bearers
The club’s Annual General Meeting was held on 18 October 2018 in Perth. Allan takes over as Chair, Davie continues as Secretary, Angela as Treasurer, all ably assisted by a committee comprising Alastair, Bill, Mike, Fiona and Moira.

Jamie Stevenson Trophy
Two TAY juniors represented the club at the Jamie Stevenson Trophy at Braemar at the weekend. The JST is an annual inter-club competition for junior orienteers in Scotland.

Fast and intense navigation - a different set of skills from traditional orienteering but just as much fun! Menzieshill was mapped last year for the British Squad as a world training area. TAY has always aimed to respect and protect the personal data of all our members, noting that the vast majority of your orienteering relevant data is collected by British Orienteering or Scottish Orienteering and shared with appropriate and approved TAY members.

Compass Sport Cup
Qualifying round Sun 11 March, Beecraigs
The qualifying round of the Compass Sport Cup will take place on Sunday 11 March at Beecraigs Country Park, near Linlithgow. This is the main UK inter-club orienteering competition, and is a great club experience for everyone from juniors to super veterans. Entries need to be made by 1 March to Alistair.

Putting Kinnoull Orienteering Course on the map
Launch of new permanent course
Representatives from local youth groups gathered on Kinnoull Hill in Perth on 28 January to try their hand at orienteering. This was the final stage in a joint project between Tay Landscape Partnership and local orienteering club Tayside Orienteers.

Drummond event 18 Feb CANCELLLED
We are very sorry to have had to postpone this event due to very wet conditions and felling in part of the forest. The hope is to have it later in the year.
