We're delighted to announce two great opportunities for you to benefit fromin specialised orienteering coaching - organised for 8-9 November 2014 and 7-8 February 2015, in a convenient local venue, especially for TAY members.
Exciting news! Following recent requests and your responses in the club questionnaire, the TAY committee has organised two blocks of coaching for those of you who are running at TD 4/5 level.
As you’ll be aware, 2015 is going to provide great opportunities for high quality orienteering, culminating in the 6 Days event and World Championships in the summer. Coaching will be key to achieving success in these events so we would encourage you to commit to attending at least one (and hopefully two!) of these blocks of coaching.
We are very fortunate to have engaged a top class coach, Lynne Walker, to lead the sessions which will be held in TAY territory and will be non-residential.
The coaching will be open to all ages and level of fitness, but restricted to TD4/5 runners. To ensure high quality course content, those of you signing up will be contacted in advance to assess your particular coaching needs.
Those interested must commit to attend both days of a block and pay up front. There will be a nominal charge to cover essentials such as maps. We need your responses as soon as possible to allow time for the details to be finalised with Lynne.
Numbers will be limited to 10 per block and places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
We would also like to gauge interest for a Junior/Beginners coaching course, so if this is of interest, please let us know.
Please send your responses to Moira at by 18 May 2014.
