Scottish Orienteering CPD Day

Following April's session the next in the SOA's Creative Coach sessions will be held at South Creag Vinean, near Dunkeld on Saturday 3 September.

Latest club championship points!

League table updated

The latest scores on the doors in the club's championship league table show Davie clearly out in front with 42 points, but not much of a gap between second and fourth places for Finn, Moira and Elaine!

  

Summer orienteering at Glenmore Lodge

Orienteering courses are available around Glenmore Lodge, near Aviemore, for summer training. 20 control markers are at various locations, giving a great opportunity for a bit of orienteering practice if visiting the area this summer. Details here

Club Championships - the story so far!

First peek at how the Club Championship points league table is shaping up shows young Finn leading the way after a series of top results, but with seniors Davie and Moira hot on his heels! Remember that folk are also rewarded for working behind the scenes as this is a vital part of keeping the club programme of events going. Well done everyone so far, looking forward to seeing how this pans out over the year!

  

No July monthly training

... but back again in August!

Owing to summer holidays for many people (including the coaches!) we WILL NOT have a July training evening on 6 July but look forward to business as usual on Wed 3 August - normal time, normal place!

  

Great bit of re-use/recycle!

Old TAY T-bars donated to Lagganlia Outdoor Centre

Great bit of re-use/recycle – TAY has donated its old T-bars to Lagganlia Outdoor Centre to help them deliver orienteering. Lagganlia is a great base for orienteering with a wealth of quality areas on the doorstep. Pic shows Nick March, Centre Manager taking delivery.
