The 2014 edition of our annual mass-start Christmas Score Event took place year in Dundee for the first time, at Camperdown Park and Templeton Woods. It was followed by a meal at a local hostelry—this year the Birkhill Inn, right on the edge of Camperdown Park.

An extra addition to the TAY calendar for 2014: a night Orienteering event and social based at Dunning Golf Course pavilion, using two new areas—plus an opportunity for a pub meal afterwards in a local hostelry.

Orienteering on Kinnoull Hill on an early summer's evening - once again, the weather was excellent and we were able to enjoy one of our favourite areas at its best This event also formed the 2014 Perth and Kinross Scouts Orienteering Championships - well done to the winning teams, to all Scouts who took part and to the Scout leaders who made sure the event was such a success.

Tayside Orienteers held the 7th and last race in the 2013-14 South of Scotland Orienteering League (SoSOL) race at Culteuchar on 18th May 2014. Culteuchar is a large, mainly open hill area south of Strath Earn, with some of the finest 'O' running and views of any area in the South of Scotland.
